Accessibility Commitment

The Isar Tech Leaders Community is committed to making our digital spaces and events accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We want all members and visitors to be able to take part fully in our activities, whether online or in person.

Why Accessibility Matters

The European Accessibility Act (EAA) requires digital products and services in the EU to be accessible to people with disabilities by June 2025. This creates a shared standard across Europe. We believe accessibility is not only a legal requirement but also a core part of an inclusive community.

Our Commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA in our digital platforms and materials. This includes our website, online resources, event tools, and shared documents. We will:

  • Identify and address accessibility barriers.
  • Use inclusive design practices.
  • Apply modern accessibility tools.
  • Gather and act on feedback from members.

Accessible Experiences

We work to ensure that community activities are inclusive by:

  • Providing strong color contrast and clear layouts.
  • Supporting screen readers and keyboard navigation.
  • Ensuring focus and navigation work as expected.
  • Offering clear labels and context for forms and controls.
  • Sharing accessible documents (PDFs, slides, reports).

Ongoing Efforts

To maintain accessibility, we:

Some tools or content we use may come from third parties. While we cannot control all of these, we encourage our partners and providers to follow accessibility best practices.
